ComfortAir cushions use air flotation technology, originally developed for medical use, to evenly distribute pressure and reduce discomfort caused by sitting for long periods. A network of interconnected air cells shifts pressure dynamically across the seat, getting rid of painful hot spots and keeping you more comfortable throughout your journey or activity.

Multiple connected cells spread your weight across a much wider surface area, which is far more effective than a single air pocket. The space between the cells is also shaped to encourage airflow through the cushion, which helps keep the seat cool during use.

The top surface of the cushion, where you sit, is made from a waterproof material. The side panels use breathable mesh for ventilation, so if the cushion is left out in heavy rain for a while, some moisture could be retained inside. It is best to keep it sheltered when not in use.

The Leisure cushion measures 36.5 x 34 cm and suits most everyday uses such as cars, trains, stadiums and wheelchairs. For motorcyclists, we offer four sizes: Adventure/Sport at 30.5 x 30 cm, Tourer at 36.4 x 34 cm, Cruiser at 38 x 33 cm, and Pillion at 28.5 x 21.5 cm.

It depends on your riding style and seat shape. Sport and naked riders tend to do best with the Adventure cushion, touring riders with the Tourer, and those on cruisers or with a feet forward riding position with the Cruiser. If you are unsure, simply measure the contact area of your seat and match it to the dimensions above. The cushion should be at least as wide as your seat contact area.

The cushion attaches via four elasticated straps that pass underneath the motorcycle seat, so it works with the vast majority of bikes. We recommend measuring your seat contact area first to make sure you pick the best size for your model.

Remove your motorcycle seat, lay the cushion in your preferred riding position, then thread the straps underneath and clip them in. Tighten enough so the cushion does not slide, but do not over tighten. Refit the seat. Once fitted, open the cover and inflate the bladder until cells appear full. Once complete sit on your motorcycle in your usual riding position releasing air from the cells until you can very slightly feel the original seat through the bottom of the cushion. Seal the valve and close the cover zip.

Sit on a fully inflated cushion in your normal riding position, then slowly release air through the valve until you can just feel the seat beneath you. A small amount of air is all that is needed. If you feel disconnected from the bike during cornering or braking, there is too much air in the cushion. Let a little more out and try again. Never adjust the air level while riding.

Yes, when correctly fitted the cushion is safe to use. Before each ride, take a moment to check the cover, straps and bladder for any signs of wear or damage. Make sure no part of the cushion is in contact with the exhaust or any sharp edges on the bike, and never adjust the air pressure while you are moving.

Separate the cover and bladder and hand wash each one in warm soapy water. Rinse well and leave both to air dry flat on a towel before putting it back together. Please do not machine wash, tumble dry or use any solvents on the cushion.
